 | Voltage converter current limiter. |
The limiter limits the output current of the Step-Down, Step-Up, and Step-UpDown converters, turning the voltage converter into a current source.
Enables lossless LED powering or battery charging, with a constant load current regardless of the output voltage. No current-limiting resistor is required.
We usually connect LED light sources as in the diagram below:

By using the current limiter we get rid of the resistor which causes unnecessary power loss, the LED supply voltage is dynamically adjusted:

Description of the limiter terminals:
 |
| Pin | Description |
| PWR+ | positive supply |
| FB | output that controls the converter (FeedBack) |
| -Load | negative load terminal, positive load terminal is the positive output of the converter |
| GND | ground, connect to the negative output of the converter |
| | the potentiometer is used to adjust the output current |
|
It's important not to connect the negative terminal of the load to ground. This will prevent current regulation and could damage the powered device.
Before connecting the limiter, set the converter's output voltage slightly higher than that needed to power the receiver. The limiter will reduce this voltage in accordance with the set output current.
